We measured the curve of the balcony twice, fabricated a tempered glass railing system to follow it, and set the posts in reinforced brackets. The result: the view stays open, the railing meets current code, and nothing rattles. If the pane is not true, the job is not done.

The problem: a north Doral home with fourteen windows facing direct south. The glass radiated so much heat that the tile floors were warm by mid-morning, and the drapes had faded unevenly. We replaced all fourteen with Andersen low-E units, quoted side by side against Pella so the homeowners could see the spec differences on paper, and sealed every perimeter. The result: a 9-degree difference at the window surface and drapes that no longer bleach at different rates.
