Meet the Doral Team Behind TruePane Windows & Doors

When you call TruePane in Doral, you get the same crew that shows up at your door, not a rotating cast of subcontractors we’ve never met. Our installers and service techs are background-checked, uniformed, and trained in-house, and most of them have been setting glass in South Florida long enough to know how the afternoon storms move through Doral. We hire local people who plan to stay local. Miguel R. - Lead Technician, Impact Systems

Miguel has been with TruePane for eleven years and leads our impact window and door installations across Doral, Fontainebleau, and the communities along 87th Avenue. He’s certified on PGT, CGI, and ES Windows product lines and knows the Miami-Dade HVHZ protocols the way most people know their commute. Before joining us, Miguel spent five years doing commercial storefront glazing. He moved to residential work because he wanted to see the same customers again. He’s the guy who re-checks the torque pattern on every anchor and still measures an opening twice even when the manufacturer’s spec sheet matches the opening he measured yesterday. Outside work, Miguel restores a 1978 Camaro and coaches his nephew’s Little League team at Morgan Levy Park.

Sarah T. - Senior Service Coordinator

Sarah is the voice on the phone when you call Doral, and she’s the reason our scheduling runs on time more often than anyone else’s. She’s been with TruePane for eight years and came from a property management background, which means she’s heard every version of “the window people said they’d be here between eight and noon” that exists. Sarah tracks every open job from quote to closeout, follows up on permits with the Doral building department, and makes sure both warranty layers get registered before the truck leaves your driveway. She grew up in Westchester and moved to Doral in 2014. On weekends she runs a small baking side business and has strong opinions about the cafecito at the gas station on 41st.

Devon W. - Senior Installer, Doors and Custom Millwork

Devon joined TruePane nine years ago after a decade doing finish carpentry in Fort Lauderdale, and he handles our most complex door installs: oversized sliders, custom pivot doors, and glass railing systems. He’s the guy you want setting a $12,000 custom entry door in a house where the rough opening hasn’t been square since 1997. Devon is known internally for his cut station. He labels every shim, keeps his fasteners in labeled bins, and can tell you the tolerance stack on a Pella hinge pack from memory. He and Miguel have worked together for so long they barely need to speak during a heavy lift. Devon lives in Medley with his wife and two greyhounds, and he’s the reason TruePane sponsors the greyhound adoption booth at the county fair every spring.

Luis C. - Apprentice Installer

Luis is the newest member of the Doral crew, hired two years ago out of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools construction trades program. Dale and Miguel train him the old way: watch, do it with help, do it alone, then teach someone else. He’s already earned his forklift certification and is working toward lead installer on single-family replacement projects. Luis runs the caulk bead, the shim stack, and the final cleanup on most jobs, and he’s developed a reputation for leaving the work site cleaner than he found it. He’s a Coral Gables native, a lifelong Miami Heat fan, and he’s saving up to buy his first home, which he says will have impact glass in every opening before he paints the first wall.
